I am lucky enough to have a garden and during the lockdown when I have not been painting I have been planting, sewing seeds, weeding, watering, pruning and mowing like never before . . . and thoroughly enjoying it in this lovely weather. The garden is looking good enough for Chelsea Flower Show.
These Daisies I think are Oxeye (?) and they flourish on the roadside – in this case the A148. I always think Daisies are so pretty as are many wild flowers. I have been inspired by Gary Bunt’s wildflower meadow and have sewn an area of the garden in view of my studio with wildflower seed. The plants are thriving and I’m so looking forward to seeing them flower.
Thank you Claire Hewitson for the title by the way!
